A New Look on Potential Public Office Holders
My good friend Jack Ricciuto writes a very provocative blog called Jack/Zen (www.jackzen.com) and recently he wrote about what the voters should look for in new public officials. A new era of progressives must make their way into office and challenge the status quo, especially in Cleveland. The old ways of the political machines just simply do not work in the new (and ever changing) economy.

Thank you my friend. It’s true that we should look to new economy leaders. Look at any professional discipline and see that the requirements of past generations are inadequate in the current space, starting with the intersections of technology and sociology, that you get. If I have health care and economic development leaders around the country now taking Web 2.0 for granted, what kind of civic leader do we need?
